Hello Friends,
It’s not lost on me that many of the people I choose to interview of late have been writers. I love reading, and always have a few books on the go at the same time.My guest this week is the force that is Anne Lamott, a sober sister whose work was one of the earliest creative influences on me.
In this episode of The Conversation, we speak about about her latest book, Somehow: Thoughts on Love. We also talked about Anne's earlier work, Bird by Bird, a book that gave me the courage to begin writing.
Talking about her new book, Anne offers insights on navigating tough times , staying sober for 38 years, finding love later in life and how to keep going a day at a time. She also shares the impact of spirituality, a god of her understanding and how self-love is crucial to her own healing.
I know you’ll enjoy listening to this episode as much as I loved connecting with my new friend, Anne Lamott.
Keep having meaningful conversations….
Love,
Amanda X
